Can the Red Wings find any traction this season? It seems like every time they take a step forward, they follow with two steps back.

Still, they’re 15th in the Western Conference and seven points out of a playoff spot. This is the second of four meetings between the teams this season. Detroit won the first meeting, Nov. 14 at Joe Louis Arena, 7-4. The Wings led 2-1 going into a wild third period that saw the teams combine for eight goals, including three by Henrik Zetterberg. He also had 2 assists for a 5-point game. Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and 3 assists for the Ducks.
