Wojtek Wolski won’t have to wait very long to face his former team. Just one day after being traded to the Coyotes in exchange for Peter Mueller, Wolski’s first game with Phoenix will come against, of all teams, Colorado.

“Wojtek Wolski is a terrific young offensive player,” Coyotes GM Don Maloney said. “He is a talented goal scorer that will help us offensively and on the power play. He has great size and is just entering the prime of his career.” Coyotes goalie Ilya Bryzgalov is one win shy of tying the Winnipeg/Phoenix franchise record of 33 wins in a season. He was pulled on Tuesday after allowing five goals in two periods.
